The design of Student harnesses does not only need to meet the requirements of the student’s training situation in terms of safety, fit, and handle ergonomics, but also those of the instructor in terms of uncomplicated handling, especially in a stressful situation. Robustness and durability are definitely required. An example of having successfully implemented all this is the Next Student AFF with either a classic “shit handle” and spring-assisted parachute, or as an Ambidex version with a releasable spandex pocket.

This Student harness is very compact and provides an extraordinary wearing comfort, which comes really close to a “tailor-made” harness. It is very easy to adjust the size incrementally even when being worn, and has variable, interlocking leg pads. The optional B12 buckles ensure maximum safety and control when putting it on and during adjustment by the instructor.
